Director, Rural Health Resiliency, Microsoft
Laura is a recognized leader in healthcare strategy and technology to accelerate digital transformation and social impact. For over 30 years, she has worked in and with care delivery organizations with a passion for advancing technology to support underserved communities.
Today, Laura leads Microsoft Philanthropies’ work in Rural Health Resiliency to build cybersecurity and AI innovation for rural care providers across the US. Laura’s commitment to healthcare is expansive. She is a co-founder of the Rural Health Community whose mission is advocacy and affordable technology for rural providers. She is on the Advisory Boards of the Oregon Chapter of HIMSS and OHSU’s Biomedical Informatics Graduate Program. Additionally, shas been recognized by Consulting Magazine as a Female Leader in Technology and the Delta Omega Public Health Honor Society. Laura received her BA from Ripon College and MHA and MBA degrees from the University of Minnesota.
Tina Burbine
Tina is recognized as an industry leader passionate about combining care innovation and digital health to drive unique care models and advocating for rural health resiliency. Over her career, Tina has focused on shaping the strategic approach for provider and payer organizations modernizing their operating models and establishing new models of evidence-based, cost-effective care delivery. Successful track record of serving clinical and operational teams with digital and IT alignment.
Tina holds an MBA, PMP, PgMP, and multiple industry certifications. She serves as the current Arizona HIMSS Chapter President and lectures at the University of Arizona’s BioMedical Informatics College Fellowship program.
